Air Vice Marshal Ian Stewart CB
Biography
Air Vice-Marshal (retired) Ian Stewart served 34 years in the Royal Air Force. He flew Harriers, and commanded RAF Gutersloh and the Harrier Field Force in Germany. He has served as an honorary ADC to Her Majesty the Queen and his last tour was as Chief Executive of the RAF’s Personnel Management Agency, for 5 years. He currently works for the Defence Vetting Agency in the Gloucestershire/Herefordshire area and is the Chairman of Marsden Weighing Machine Group. He was appointed to the Armed Forces’ Pay Review Body in 2005.
