PUBLICATION SCHEME FOR THE REVIEW BODY ON DOCTORS' AND DENTISTS' REMUNERATION



Purpose of the Review Body on Doctors and Dentists Remuneration

The Review Body on Doctors' and Dentists' Remuneration was appointed in July 1971 and is independent. Its role is to make recommendations to the Prime Minister, the Secretary of State for Health, the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales on the remuneration of doctors and dentists taking any part in the National Health Service.

Requests for information relating to evidence submitted by stakeholders should be directed to the appropriate body. The following organisations have advised OME that this is either incorporated within their publication scheme (where they are a public body) or that they will consider requests: British Medical Association; Dental Practitioners Association ; Department of Health ; Hospital Consultants and Specialist Association ; National Assembly for Wales (published as part of DoH) ; Scottish Executive (published as part of DoH) and the Scottish Advisory Committee on Distinction Awards.

Charges

There will not be any charge for information requested and supplied from the publication scheme.
