Public Sector Senior Remuneration
The Prime Minister has asked the Review Body on Senior Salaries (SSRB) to lead a review of senior remuneration in the public sector, including making recommendations on a pay structure for NDPB chief executives. He has asked for an interim report on principles and methodology in time to inform Budget 2010. The initial report has now been published (see Quick Links on the right). After considering that report, the Government has asked SSRB to make further recommendations - see the written Ministerial statement (http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm/cmtoday/cmwms/archive/100324.htm#hddr_15) by the Prime Minister on Pubic Sector Senior Remuneration.
The exercise to produce a pay structure for NDPB chief executives is due to report at the end of July 2010.
