Public Sector Senior Remuneration

Initial report on public sector senior remuneration
In December 2009 the previous Prime Minister asked the Review Body on Senior Salaries (SSRB) to lead a review of senior remuneration in the public sector, including making recommendations on a pay structure for NDPB chief executives. He asked for an interim report on principles and methodology in time to inform the 2010 Budget. An initial report was published: Initial Report on Public Sector Senior Remuneration 2010. [An error in the typesetting of this Report affected Figure 3.1 on page 36. The electronic version of this Report has now been corrected, but printed copies of the Report and copies downloaded prior to 11.30am on 25th March 2010 contain the incorrect Figure 3.1. The data which underpin Figure 3.1 are in Table B1 on page 64 of the Report. These data were not affected by the error in typesetting.]
Final report on public sector senior remuneration - pay for NDPB Chief Executives
After considering that report, his Government asked SSRB to make further recommendations - see the written Ministerial statement (http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm/cmtoday/cmwms/archive/100324.htm#hddr_15) of 24 March 2010 on Public Sector Senior Remuneration. The report on a pay structure for NDPB chief executives was published in July 2011.
